I've decided to get super mario 64 for my boyfriend for Christmas. The only place I can get it is eBay and that's proving a fail. I'm having to get my mum to do it 'cos I'm under 18 and she's doing it in the most complicated way possible. Kinda hoping that it'll get here by christmas though...

I also got the weirdest present ever today, basically- a random selection of food; mash potato mix, cheese sauce mix, angel delight, a tub of jelly, plain flour, a lollipop, mikado, oreo's and a plate scrubber....

What you guys expecting or giving this Christmas?

I'm giving my boyfriend a pile of burnt cds, guitar picks and a pick holder.
Getting my mom a few burnt cds and a wine opener.
Getting my dad Toronto Maple Leaf boxers and a travel grooming kit.
Getting my brother pajama pants.

I'm hoping to get enough money for a 1tb ext. harddrive, l4d2, wireless mouse, usual cds and dvds and etc.

go christmas.

Not sure what I'm getting... probably not much. However, a few days ago we found 2 board games and a basket of food at our door. We're not sure who put it there but that was nice.

I suppose I'm just giving my neighbors food, because all my friends are out of state, on vacation...
I just feel like in a giving mood rather than taking.

I'm getting my son a mini guitar and microphone (like REALLY small .. he's only 4) - he seems to have a rly good ear for music and is already pretty awesome at striking a R-O-C-K pose.

Me? I'm actually getting a few books this year, mostly by poets.

The weirdest thing I think I've bought for someone else this year is a pair of slippers with Elvis quiffs on the toes that plays 'Hound Dog' when you're walking. It's a kind've in-joke in my family with my Dad (who hates Elvis) that we have to buy him something incredibly tacky related to Elvis alongside a nice present. Last year I got him a full Vegas-style outfit which he wore while cooking the Christmas lunch .. was simply the strangest thing I've seen at Christmas so far tbh ....

Don't know what I'll be giving as gifts - already gave my sister some stuff - I'm not so much on wrapping so I just give them when I get them.

Thinking about treating myself to a new GPU.

I'm giving my boyfriend a pile of burnt cds,

That's nice. I should torch some CDs and give them out too.

I'm awesome at wrapping. I make hand-made bows and spend 20 minutes per present. But some people just don't appreciate all the effort I go to.. So they're gonna get their present in a plastic bag.

lol, that's nice. I tell people not to wrap my gifts because if I open it in front of them, most people expect me to open the wrappings carefully...I'd rather get it in that plastic bag.

I can't make bows - my sis probably can. She's the artistic type. I'm the chaotic one.

I find the 'burnt cd' smell fits the holiday.

Lots of stress relief too.

i got my cousin slayer's first cd, cuz he grew up in the 80's and he likes slayer, but he hadn't heard that one. it's such 80's cheese lol. we rocked out to my copy in the car one time.

uh...i got my friend harry potter 6.

so far i got foo fighters greatest hits from a friend, and 2 gift cards. man do i hate gift cards. it's like money you can only spend somewhere. i'd rather just have an item from that store. if i'm getting something i can spend i want it to be on what i want, instead of "i went to this store but didn't know what to get you so i was lazy"

I like gift cards now that I know expiry dates and service charges are illegal.

I didn't get nothing at all.... but I guess I would consider hanging around here for a while is a present... or the GFP... don't know what to do with them, but there probably is something that I can get with them.... Merry Christmas everyone! haha.
