I mean yeah I get stoked for new games, but alas I never really buy as I know I probably won't even finish. I mean hell in the last 6 months, I think I logged a total of maybe 100 total hours, which is a far cry from my teen days of logging 12-15 a day and not getting bored. Maybe this is me finally growing up or maybe just me moving on, because I have been watching a lot mroe movies recently. On average lately about 4-6 a day, which is equals generally around 8 hours

I'm still into gaming but just like you, not as big with it as I was in my teenage years. I remember playing CS one day for about 14 or 15 hours straight (parents weren't home most of the day so I took advantage) and then came out of it brain dead.
But now I get a few hours in every week here and there. Usually L4D2 or Killing Floor now.
And I wish I could watch 4-6 movies a day, at most I watch 1-2 a week on TV, and sometimes on DVD, and rarely at the theaters. Last movie I saw there was District 9. Good movie too.

I'm still into it, but these days I'm balancing it up with other things (writer, playing my guitar etc) more than I did before. However, judging from some of the stuff out early next year that'll probably change.

well i used to play diablo 2 all day long. my mom eventually limited me to an hour a day and that was only enough time for 1 chaos run and it was aggravating. i almost stopped gaming for a while, but now i've gotten back into it. whenever i'm at my grandmas i spend the whole time playing starcraft. haha

Being a teen, I could probably give a good comparison for you guys.
I still play Halo 3 (holy @#$%, didn't it come out in like 2007?), Halo 3: ODST, Assassin's Creed 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Need for Speed Pro Street, Sims 3, Modern Warfare 2, and Army of 2. And I get about 15 hours a day of those games.

Wish I had that life again. Better than the work I do now.

I'm still very much into video games.....just as much as I was 12 years ago when I got my n64 for christmas. I just don't have the time. on weekdays with school and work I maybe get about 1-2 hours in. It's only on days when I'm off completely do I spend hours upon hours on end in front of the t.v.

I used to be into gaming so much until I stopped around .... 17. I took long breaks due to school and entering college, so I only played games when I have the chance. And I still do it... Sometimes on the weekend I head to a friend's house just to play something new, but then he gave me his ps1 including a couple Final Fantasy games as a present, so next year I guess I'll be on & off from gaming? It just depends

My gaming time has really dropped since HS. I do still get in a good hour or 2 most days and weekends maybe a couple more hours but I play games like other people watch tv. There just seems to be too much junk on tv anymore and I enjoy games much more then sitting and watching the latest "reality" show. I still watch movies a good amount but tend to save them for the wee hours of the morning when I am at work and have nothing to do.
Back when I was hooked on the warcrack I would get way too many hours in.

I'm still really really into gaming, but my gaming time has been comendeered by revision and the man in my life. I usually play from about 8 at night till 1 or 2 in the morning, but I'm so tired nowadays I start dozing in the middle of a game (which has horrible consequences). BUT, I still enjoy it as much, if not more, than previously.

That's worse than sleeping while driving.
My new GPU is due to come today, I'm hoping to get it in a few hours and play a few hours of L4D2! Get back into the gaming spirit for Christmas.

I'm in what I call a 'pause phase'. I've played the hell out of the games i have and I need a little break. Once I get a new game I will be right back on the nerd train.
Money is an issue too ) :

I'm with LemonRising, I'm not really keeping up with the latest games, money's an issue. Instead, I head to a friend's house just to play some new games that he has.... That's the only way I can keep up with today's gaming... I guess.

Well, thanks to Assassins Creed 2, my gaming clockage went sky high. We were stuck in the house for a day and from 11am - 2.30 am i did nothing but play AC2, eat, go to the loo, do a couple of menial chores and i also played trivial pursiut... which lasted far too long for my liking.
And don't worry Linux! I didn't fall asleep! this time

Well, I used to play almost any free time I had.. xD I kinda got outta it last year.
I mean, I still play every now and then. But definitely not nearly as much as I used to.
I'm kinda slowly getting back into it though.

I like to play games a lot still, especially since i got the ps3 just about 4 months ago. But I've realized that it isn't really a relaxing activity since you're actively involved in what's happening, and sometimes i just wanna relax(which i usually do by watching nfl now)

"pause phase"... that's ingenious, I'm going to have to start using that :-)
I'm just coming out of a pause phase and trying to find a great game to kick it off... Gotta get ready for Winter-een-mas! ;-)

If you have a PS3 I suggest you try downloading the game Flower from the play station store. It is one of the most relaxing games I have ever played. You control the wind and fly over flowers collecting their peddles. It uses the six-axis controller and is very easy to play.

I was right, got a few new games, and now I'm back to playing hours a day.
Which is kind of bad when I'm supposed to be doing other stuff but oh well.
LOVE ME SOME GAMES.

I love gaming. But it's hard to want to game when your significant other hates the genres of games you like... I've just stopped playing RPGs when he's around so I don't have to listen to him whine about how lame they are... -_-
Gears of war is technically an RPG, right? And so is Halo, in a way right?

Of course I don't put as much time into games as I used to, I have other responsibilities, but I'm still a hardcore gamer.
