Best Gaming Moments

I am sure it has happened to us all. That moment in a game were you sit back and just marvel at how well made and fun a game is. That feeling of accomplishing something great that just makes you happy.

What are some of your best gaming moments?

~ Uncharted 2: The train sequence. You can climb on top of the train. You can climb on the side of the train. You can walk through the train. Then to realize the train is moving the whole time and that second when you are about to take a guy out with a headshot but can't because the train is taking a turn and you loose line of sight. Wow!

~ WoW: My guilds first Ragnaros kill. We had worked for a good couple months to kill him and to be the 2nd guild on the server to do so was amazing. WoW was so epic back then. To get 40 people to work toward the same goal and complete it was just amazing.

~ Bioshock: The beginning of the game was just amazing. The graphics were so good and it really put you right into the mood of the game. I don't want to spoil it for anyone but it really is one of the best intro's to a game ever.

~ Halo: The first time we hooked up a couple Xboxes and played multiplayer I knew that bungie had done something special. I think my friends and I have spent more hours playing the first halo then any of the others. It was the party game to play for us and every excuse we got we would get together and play for hours.

There are so many more but here are a few that stood out for me. How about you?

The day I finally beat the damned glitch that stopped me completing the game on assassins creed. That made me happy.
um... beating my BF a mariokarts double dash. He was being clever and stopped just before the finish line and turned around. He was waiting for me to come close then reverse over the line. But i got a red shell, knocked him out and beat him. I'll never let him live that down.

Loads of others, but none that spring to mind right now.

Ahh. My best of the best moments must have been when i took the last boss in Dragon age origins. My whole body crimpled
And seccond, Must have been when i finished the Main story in The elder scrolls IV oblivion, It was aaaaaaawesomeee!

The scenario and the motion physics of Assasin's Creed 2. its awesome

When I completed Bioshock 100% on my 360. A good day that was, now if I could only finish deadspace....

It'd definitely have to be the day I defeated Kingdom Hearts 2.
I sat around all day playing it nonstop, I was a winner in the end. :D
Such a feeling of accomplishment.

in cs 1.6, I went like 102-2 or something. I know I have a screenshot somewhere. Never had a better ratio.

In L4D, getting a triple kill with a hunter, pounced one near the edge of a building, the other two flinched and fell off the edge...Blackleo did it once too...awesome feeling.

in L4D2 Triple Kill with Spitter and almost a double kill with Charger. Charger ran out the window with a guy and threw another one on he ledge, he hung on, even though he should have fallen to his death.

In ROSE where I became an artisan and a billionaire. Good feeling, it was years ago though...7 years now, wow, doesn't seem like that much time has passed.

These are just from the top of my head. I know I have more...can't seem to remember any after a round of L4D2.

~ Portal: The whole game was just great. The humor in this game is some of the best in any game. "The cake is a lie." To go along with that we got a buddy a cake for his b-day one year and asked them to write that quote on it. They laughed and said "Haha the cake is alive that’s cute." When we explained what we really wanted they just got confused.

2 nights ago in L4D2, last level of the map "Dead Center" - we got all the gas tanks and bolted out of there in less than 2 minutes, before the tank got a chance to spawn. Never had a team work faster than that.

I guess we have to thank the other team for having a bad spitter...he could have burned all of our gas tanks if he wanted but I guess he was new to the game. It was the game where we got a perfect score of 3000 for the map too. First time for both, was pretty exciting.

uhh.. I meant that couple days ago, I was playing Final Fantasy 8, and got the hardest GF in the game... Cactuar. I had like 250 hp on squall, Irvine was dead, and Zell had like 67 hp left. it was insane.....

My best gaming moments..I have them evry day, Evry day i turn on my computer and play Fallout 3,If i should explain why i would have been writing for hours and hours, So i wont, I simply say, If you havent tried it,Get it fast fast fast!, Its the most amazing game ever made

I think back to all the late nights of playing SSB with my best friend when I was ... um ... man I had to go back and check the release dates on SSB64 and SSBM, I was like 10... man.

My best memories seem to be with really obscure old titles... getting to that last shopkeeper in Gauntlet 4 that sells you your character's best weapon, beating Arcanum was amazing, finishing the puzzle-adventure Zork with my family was a blast, countless rounds of Rush 2049 battle mode on the N64, beating Might and Magic VIII (and solving the whole obelisk puzzle and finding the king unicorn! Awesome!), or just simply playing Millennium Racer: Y2K Fighters (that game is just pure ecstasy!)

If anyone knows what I'm talking about anywhere in that paragraph up there, I'll be your best friend forever. Oh, and you should send me your Millennium Racer ghost files, I'm just gonna put that challenge out there. ;-)

ICO: when the bridge that you and Yorda are on begins to seperate and you jump and she grabs your hand to keep you from falling, instead of you catching her like usual

Kingdom Hearts: the first fight against Ansem when you save Kairi

Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories: the second time you fight Marluxia and it plays the song Scythe of Petals

Kingdom Hearts 2: the end when sora gives kairi her lucky charm back

One of my best gaming moments was a day of Forza Motorsport 3 I had with a friend a few weeks back..
We spent pretty much the entire day online playing the Road Racing mode, both driving the #8 Peugeot Sport 908.
Having got so used to each of the tracks, we managed to jump into a full lobby and took on each track, working together and performing our own recreation of Driven (http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=1&ved=0CAkQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.imdb.com%2Ftitle%2Ftt0132245% 2F&ei=Dn5FS7TyF4b00gSs9IjsAQ&usg=AFQjCNHEtAwUVPPXCPk0mTZB43IbzUkxKg&sig2=SDeaQyut4_pnIm8CmoefdA), Weaving in and out of the other racers and eventually taking 1st and 2nd place, 5 races running.

That, at least for myself, was an epic run.

my first sexual relation in dragon age. that tops all. i couldn't stop laughing, cuz they do it with underwear on. xD. it was sweet though cuz as soon as you encounter the character i was like "i hope you can start relations with her"

getting some of the trophies in god of war was pretty nice too. mostly "seeing red" "ill take the challenge" and "you got the touch" now i only need the 5 hour completion one, which shouldn't be too hard. i got through it in just over 5 hours while taking my time to get every red orb.
