My name's Morticia and I'm obviously a newbie. Morticia isn't my real name but most people call me it irl anyway. I've been searching for a good gamer forum because the last few I've been a part of have been brim-full of drama and whiny little 14 year old girls -_-
I'm from Southern California, but I'm trying to get the money to move out of the country. I like FPS and RPGs mostly, and I mainly play on xBox. Since I finally got a laptop that won't commit suicide if I try to game on it, I'd love some suggestions.
Anyway, Ask me whatever you want to know. :]

Welcome and I agree with shixx try out Borderlands and also try Fallout 3. Both are great and both have or had a bunch of DLC come out for them.

I would suggest that you don't waste your money (or that of your friends') on Fallout 3 (not that it's terrible.. it's just not that good) Oblivion is pretty good on a laptop (lots of cool downloads and shizz, but it's overly tempting to cheat).

ive been searching for a good forum also, and i think i now finally found it. the people seem to be great on here. i went to ireland bout 5 years ago for a wedding and wanted to move there ever since i absolutely loved it there and i will live there one day. Oblivion is awesome i got endless hours into that game

I have a different opinion about Borderlands... While I had fun playing it, I don't give it incredible praise. I went into greater detail on that note in this post (http://www.gamers-forum.com/showthread.php?p=190472#post190472), if you're interested ;)

Yeah, that's my real color. They're 3 colors actually... Blue on the outside, green and then gold in the middle. One of them is darker than the other and has brown in it.. They freak people out a lot. I have a picture of them close up if you want to see ^.^

I want those eyes...mine are plain old brown. Same with the rest of my family tree so it's no surprise.

Well my uncle has hazel eyes but he's scary...haven't seen him in 10 years or so. His son, my cousin, also has hazel eyes. He's tall, 6'3" last I saw him. I have none of their genes.

Yeah, I'd like to see a closeup. I'll probably catch it tomorrow, since I have a meeting in the morning, need sleep so I don't fall asleep on the wheels on an hour+ long drive.

Never had any eyes freak me out. Very interesting to look at the different types of eye colors there are.

And now that I think about it, in your close up pic, the left eye looks like a solar eclipse. You have the moon blocking the sun plus the solar corona right around it.

But a lot more colorful than what our own sun produces. :

Almost pure black isn't pure black :-P mine are dark brown too and with the right light it looks black, but once you get a close up you see brown.
