I just finished this movie and it can best be described as "interesting". It had a lot of action, so it was good, but it was kind of confusing. Anyone that has seen it care to explain the ending to me???

I saw it a while back. I don't remember the ending. What happened again?

I know they found out they had the soul of their creators in there, but don't remember the rest.

I remember watching it..
It was a decent movie, but I don't feel it was good enough for me to actually remember what happened...

SPOILER WARNING:The ones that had been sucked into the talisman came out as these green spirits, then they floated into the air and there was this dramatic movement of green across the sky. And then it started raining, and some of the rain got on the camera, and there were little green sparkles in the rain. :confused1:

Oh yeah..those were the souls leaving the bodies and joining up with the Doc in heaven? I don't really know how to interpret it, I think the creators wanted people to just wonder about it.

If i'm not wrong there are many 9 movies. One recently released is 9 animated. Another one was with real humans. How they handle name conflict in movie database ?

It was an alright movie. However, if I don't remember, it couldn't have been too good.

We have this one on blue ray and I just watched it again. I couldn't help but think about how good a game they could have made with this plot/universe. Maybe it was the graphics or the post apocalyptic storyline but I could see myself playing as one of the nine exploring the world.

Yeah the game would have potential but they'd probably butcher it if they made it by making it to where you couldn't roam around and stuff

The 'sparkles' in the green drops were bacteria, or unicellular organisms, saying since the doctors soul had died and his unicellular organisms spread, it goes into evolution, which would in time bring the human race back.

I thought it was a good movie, 3 and a half/ five stars from me.

I don't think they could be described as unicellular organisms, Samus -- if each of them was created by the man's Astral or Mental power. He gave a piece of himself away into each of them, and then when they all came back together -- they came to be one.

Essentially, it was them raining life back down to the planet to bring restoration back to the world. More like the LifeStream from FF7 -- where a soul is separated, born, and then returns. Matter in, Matter out. The cycle of life revolved around the theory of all energies shifting and changing from essence to essence, without fail or pause.

Death just returns to the soil, and then decomposes and the energy is redistributed.

I think both are probable causes, the movie didn't do great explaining the end.
So I guess it's to the viewers discretion.

The green drops weren't bacteria though. It was the Soul Energy from the rescued members of the tribe. Nothing organic about it. Lol.
