I was looking around the site and I started thinking about posting some of my art on here. Basically every person I know that's a gamer or a computer person is pretty artistic, so I was thinking I would start a thread for anyone on the site to post recent or favorite doodles of theirs to critic or just for the hell of it. Photoshop, traditional medium or something you doodled on a scrap of lined paper, all is welcome here. :]

thats pretty sweet. unfortunately im as far from artistic as they come. however i absolutely love art and always wished i was able to draw. i took classes in school and everything i guess i just wasnt cut out for it. But im one hell of a gamer and a nut on a dirtbike n snowmobile

i gotta try to start learning how to use photo shop maybe id have better luck. i have gimp that linux told me to try out. cant wait to see more of ur work in the future and im sure there are plenty of artists on here

Thanks a lot. I need a tablet but I'm so broke... all I have is a crappy $50 one that messes up and glitches all the time.

It was meant to be a self-portrait... then I got carried away and started to draw the owl part.
The shape of the face is a bit off and the eyes are different sizes... but oh wells.

Edit - opps.. it's a bit big. i'll see about making it smaller when i'm back on the net.

This ladies and gentlemen, is why you should never, ever, use self-tan to impress the ladies. My leopard tried it and... the damage is done.

thanks guys, it's nice to hear some nice things about it from those who I'm fairly sure would not lie about it. :) Especially after what my bunny boiler of a teacher said about it... she said it looked constipated... Maybe that's the colour she goes when she's stuck on the loo, but I'm fairly certain it doesn't appear constipated to anyone but her.
That was a bummer of a way to end the school day. (i can rhyme!!)

Well, this one has my birthday on it 'cause I was gonna get it tattoed on me somewhere, but that didn't work out. Anyway, here it is:

@infernal - i particularly like the last one, very cubist. i can kinda see how you might push things a little further by deconstructing stuff a little further too, so that could be interesting.

Did you take art class's beyond highschool or are you just self taught? Because your a lot better then most of my friends and some of them have been drawing for over a decade.

I'm self taught. I'm actually not a very disciplined artist... I only draw when I have the time/urge and I stop drawing for long periods of time..
Lol.. I almost failed my high school art classes O_O I had to transfer out to a second graphic arts class.

Oh wow .. I really like that Morteh .. what a talented person you are. I draw, both regularly and with digital assistance, like a spider crawling through ink - it's quite pathetic.

You might hate it, but it does show off your talents quite well .. much like me wearing only a pair of socks :p
