wow at PS3 beating 360, I thought it's be another November. Since the PS3 got it's pricedrop, it's been laying a smackdown on the 360. Now Sony can learn from this and take this pill for the generations. And man Wii selling 3.81 is insane. The record used to be PS2 with 2.7, so a million over the record. lol I just noticed the DS broke it as well. The industry is doing well on most fronts. 2 platforms at 3+ and 4 at 1+ is great. Ps2 is understandable but man PSP is just dying.

Nintendo's "don't target the 'core' gamers" routine has done them VERY well. Seeing the actual figures here is pretty cool, thanks for doing the research and posting :) +rep

its just becuase its cheap tell me how much it made not the the units sold it will still most likely be the wii but ps3 is better

The cheap argument really holds no water. People just want something new. Wii=199, 360 had be had for 199, PS3 for 299. If people really wanted to have the 2 they would of gotten. The Wii is a beast, that cheap argument is so 2007. Have I time traveled back to 2007? :laugh:

um ok now thats just not true becuase if the wii argument about it being cheap was so 2007 then i would have not brought it up so i guess i am a revelutionary for saying the wii is cheap ?

point way over your head. The point was back in 2007, everyone and there brother claimed the only reason the Wii was outselling the PS3 and 360 was because the Wii was 250 and 360 was IIRC 400 for it's cheapest model and PS3 was 500. If that argument would of held water the 360 and PS3 would be outselling the Wii at this current moment yet the Wii just sold nearly 4 million and together the 360 and PS3 sold 2.69 even with the prices so close. Thus proving that Wii is not an success because of it's price point

But the PS3 being over 360 by .5 million, doesn't compare when you go back a couple years to see how much it's still being beat by.
And only 1 PS3 game is in the top games.

Nice to see though, I enjoy reading these.
Congrats to Nintendo, though, they've really outdone everything I could have imagined.
