Dragon Age Origins: Awakening expansion

Dunno if any of you dragon age players were aware of this, but a new expansion has been announced. I've kinda been out of the loop with the game since the last DLC, and got bored of waiting for the 3rd one ('Return to Ostagar') so had completely missed the announcement altogether.

Have to say, if anyone read my review on the original game (Dragon Age Origins - Gamers Forum (http://www.gamers-forum.com/showthread.php?t=12876)) or perhaps has played it, you'll no doubt be interested in this too.

Huh....looks interesting of course but I am skeptical of some of the stuff offered. Does the story actually change in this expansion....since in the actual game the story always ends with the Archdemon dying no matter what you do.

Take a closer look mate .. the trailer vid on the official site tells you that just because the archdemon dies does not mean the end of the blight. They also introduce a new nemesis. It's a continuation of the story. Check it out - links to the stuff is in the same place as my original post.

the way i look at it the game wasnt on my a list to start with but to say they are makeing a exspansion pack this soon says they were either prepared for loss or they are trying to dig themselfs out by makeing a quick pick me up

it is just lowe quality it is a series as to witch is awfull but to each his own

Yeah it looks pretty sweet, it also must be huge since the expansion is $40 on steam.

i'm definitely excited about this. i've never gotten so involved in a game as i did with dragon age since...legend of dragoon.
