I'm trying to finish an online course to get my diploma, and it's killing me! Japanese has to be the hardest language I've ever come across. I only have a limited time to do it and I just don't have the time to fully focus and learn it all. If anyone reads it I would really appreciate some help so I can get this over with and get my diploma D:

Thanks so much. :]

eep, I hardly know any.
I'd try something like Rosetta Stone, it costs a lot.. but you could probably get a demo or something like that.

I tried to learn some once because I girl I was seeing was learning it .. I failed at impressing her, and apparently said something inaapropriate to one of her japanese friends. Needless to say the relationship didn't last long.

It's my high school diploma O_o so it's not like I'm majoring in it. Plus, I already payed for the class and am half way through. And the google translator, and any other free translator is horrible for the Kanji (beginners grammar and syntax) that I have to work on. Japanese is too complex to use a hack free translator. Not to get defensive, but I'd appreciate it if you don't criticize me about the class I'm taking if you don't have anything helpful to offer.

Ah, it's a HS diploma. I had something else in mind. Was thinking about a regular certificate for a single course.

Soon enough you'll be able to buy your own car where you'll be able to hold it hostage from someone else.

haha I thought that might be what you thought.
Yeah first I have to let my doctor clear me for work. -_- Till then I'm dead broke.

Where are you trying to work? And do you have to get permission from your doc to work as in working papers? or something to do with health?

And I remember having to wait for my doctor's permission...waste of time.

Somewhere in the town I live in, anywhere really. I just need money atm any way I can get it. D: Which is why I'm seeking out commissions like a hobo after booze.

Health issues. Gah, yet again a product of my parent's being what they think is exemplary parenting. -_- In short, they ignored me for 7 years when I told them I was sick/in pain and since then I've had to have 4 procedures.

Ah. hopefully you get better and the doctor clears you.

And if you're patient enough, and if you look in the right places, opportunities will come knocking.

YES!
I can read/speak/understand some japanese. I can read and write hirigana pretty fluently, i can just manage katakana but my knowledge of kanji is lacking.
My vocabulary isn't great, but I have notes and all the like. I understand the basic sentence structure and grammar.

Having said all that, i'm not actually very good - I can't write formal letters to save myself. But hey, something is better than nothing.

I know some spoken phrases, my studying of the language lacks discipline.

Umm, my best friend is learning the alphabets ready for when she studies it at University in September. Want me to ask her for some online links etc and PM them to you?
