In online gaming, like xbox live. Is it "safe" to use the mic? Like.. Not being recoded and laid out on yt?:confused1:

i would assume there can be a way to be recorded but i highly doubt u have anything to worry about. If u are worried id just watch what u say. Welcome to the forum and im sure someone on here will be able to answer your question alot better than myself

Completely safe. I use a mic during most games, Especially L4D/2 and KF matches. Some in CS as well.

Can't promise you that no one is recording you but either way, you should be careful about what you say, people can get offended easily and you certainly don't want to create arguments.

Other than that it's safe.

With console gaming I think you are less likely to be recorded than PC gaming. Ventrillo seems to get recorded a bunch so be aware of that if you use it.

I stopped using a mic for Xbox live since there seems to be a ton of vulgarity used by players of some games. I was very pleased to find very little of that type of thing during the MAG beta so it may depend on the game.

It's definitely safe to use the mic. You never know if someone is recording you, but I doubt anything you say over XBL is going to be that bad.
