so the problem is I'm a freshmen in college going to school for programming I have a game I've been working on for the last 4 year that I would like to pitch to a company but the one I want to pitch it to is not taking any right now the game is easily game of the year material so any advice any one

As for your game, you should submit them to smaller distributors and see if you get any offers. If you try to go big right away, you'll only get disappointed, that's how life works (most of the time).
