It all depends on which GTA. I know in San Andreas there is several cheats that can cause an error in the pct. completion and cause to you to never get 100% ever. Sometime you don't even need to use a cheat to break that f-ing thing. I accidently did the one where if you kill too many people in the gyms that breaks it. I really wanted 100% too :\

the only times cheating is good is in diablo 2 (map hacks make the game 100x more fun and 100x less frustrating, and everybody likes somebody who uses a maphack, it doesn't make the game unfair) and in megaman/pokemon games. megaman games are really hard to do some of the stuff in (like, you have to kill some boses in like 30 seconds using a preconstructed, usually crappy, chipset. and its near impossible)

pokemon games nowadays are wack cuz you can only get half the legendaries, and its always the lame legendaries that you can get. i want a freakin deoxys and darkrai

I personally don't like cheats, they make you lost that feeling when you finally beat something really hard... but!!! GTA Cheats are awesome. GTA wouldn't be the same without cheats.

i don't like cheating of any kind .. but i love mods of all sorts for games that don't mean ur breaking the basics

Cheating=fun. I think I learned that way back in Algebra.... haha
Cheating's a ***** in console games, because in FPS games it involves super-gods that run around and rape you till you bleed.
PC games like AOE and Diablo are MADE for cheating. No doubt

I used to play with those gameshark/action replay things, but then again, those things take all the fun out of what game you play. . . and it screws up your system. I messed up my friend's game saves for some of the Final Fantasy games and his fat ps2 system messed up on him too....'the indestructable disc read error!' He didn't get mad at all, but he was just like lets try again with another ps2! weird... but anyway
its better for the gamer to play the games and gain all the unlockables/secrets they can find in the game...

When the game is so fun and Interesting, You won't even have the time to think about Cheating. but if It's boring or very hard, then I go for cheats so that I enjoy the story only.
