It sounds like another depressing love story meant to make women cry.... I really do not like Chick Flicks. They're always the kind of cliche that I want to stab.
PS- Dear John is a phrase for the letters that women sent their Boyfriends or Husbands that were away in the Army/Navy/What-have-You That were to tell them that they found someone else and were leaving them...
Pretty lame and depressing name for a love story..... That's like saying "These two people will fall in love and he'll go off to serve his country in the war and his stupid Hoe of a girlfriend will cheat on him and leave him loveless and lonely in Iraq." All in the title. Makes me roll my eyes SO HARD.

It's a chick flick. The split was 84% women/16% male. I assume all those 16% or at least a majority were bf's/husbands forced to watch it

Just watched the trailer and as thedeparted said, clear "chick flick" ITS NOTHING you would ever watch with your guy friends.

But it would definitely make a good movie to watch with your gf.
