Auto closing client

It appears that this isnt really filtering into the gaming community forums yet which is a shame, I play metin2_uk and it appears from a quick google search that it is a common problem with metin, especially the gameforge servers and if anyone has had a similair problem with other mmo's and found a solution would be great to hear.

The client auto-closes and or reboots the PC randomly without warning, now this doesn't happen to every player but it is becoming more common, so with many different configurations of PC and software all Gameforge are saying is that it is our PCs, no response from Ymir at all on the issue.

I and others have tried other games, even multiple games at the same time, such as Requiem and WoW, Runescape and others with no issues at all. Yet as soon as we start metin poof its gone.

hopefully somone may recognise this syserr report and can explain it to me, so I can pass it on to the others that are having this issue. It is just one example, but they all have the same sysinfo(145) and are all unknown IME (2057 or 1033)

I dont have a font, which is why some of it isnt showing correctly but they are just numbers, important I know but I can't show them from my PC.

If anyone can let me know if this is a local issue or a server side issue and if there is a solution I and many other metin2 players from around the world would be grateful.

i can't help with ur problem personally, but i'm sure if someone knows the game or the problem they'll reply

Hi Jango, many thanks for your kind welcome. I did use the search function to check for metin and granny which would have shown up if someone had this issue before but nothing was available so am presuming it has not yet been discussed on this forum.

It is a shame I am having to resort to contacting other gamers and programmers (on other forums) about this as all it would take is for Ymir or Gameforge to give a reply to the many people (and growing) that have had this issue and yet we have heard nothing, not even a thanks for letting us know we are looking into it, just its your PC at the beginning and other than windows OS from XP to 7 and metin we have no commonality amongst configs. I have even contacted RAD the people that make the granny 3d environment software to see if they can come up with a solution and am waiting for their reply.
It is sad that a developer and host cannot have the decency to look into something and give a response and it only does them an injustice when it has to be discussed in this way but we are at a loss and have had to take other courses of action, they are also losing money as we cannot buy from the itemshop with an unstable game.
