Over-used sayings

What are some sayings that people say so much that you can't stand em?

personally, i hate "when life gives you lemons, make lemonade" thats like saying "when life gives you cake mix, make a cake" What if life gave you a pile of dog crap? that's gonna be some nasty lemonade.

also i hate hearing "life is like a box of chocolates" if i buy a box of chocolates, they're all the same kind. like reeses or something. and you can melt down the chocolate, add some milk, and make it yummier.

I'm also sick of hearing "don't make someone a priority if they only make you an option" easier said than done.

for me it would have to be ppl that resort to saying 'your mum' or similar, simply because they can't think of anything better to say ..
