Yeah, that was a little premature to get all pi... mad. So, not a very good start... But hey anyhow, and next time (if there is one..) you should wait until someone actually posts something. We aren't lightning fast at posting things, nobody is. Give it time in the future. Just some friendly advice.

I notice how all of you, despite posting, didn't answer his questions.... lols. ;p
I've never really bothered downloading a game for the playstation, i much prefer having the hard copy in your hand. Though you can install games on the ps3, which (as far as i'm aware) makes things load much, much faster.
The size you want depends on the number of games you think you'll want to download/install and the number of times you save (though that isn't a big a factor as the others).
I find it annoying to surf the interweb via the ps3, it's so fiddly and i find the navigation thing and loading time terrible. Much rather use it for what it was designed for, playing games (and watching the occasional movie).
Hope that helped. :)

Oh, and to add to what Rai was saying, you can also copy your movies to your PS3. ^_^ I'm pretty sure anyway, maybe that's just MPEGS...
