Alien Prequel

They're making a prequel to alien...

but here's what i know about it:

Ridley Scott will be directing (he made the original, as well as a bunch of other great movies like blade runner)
3D
HR Giger is not doing the alien design

i also hear there's going to be an alien homeworld?



...i refuse to see this. I'm very upset about this.

sounds interesting epsi .. i like most of ridley scott's stuff, and the original alien for me was the best

i don't care if they remake the original, i just don't want them to explain everything, because part of why alien is so awesome is that you have no idea wtf anything is. The company, the weird structures in the spaceship, the nature of the alien. you know the same amount as the crew members do.

seriously though, this isn't a thread for me to discuss why i don't want this, it's so everybody can discuss opinions on it etc. i just don't have a link.

i really really couldn't for this movie since i really love the first -3 movies and it should be better since they can produce better cgi!
