As for me, I really want its. I hope that LiNuX will eventually upgrade this forum to the world's most powerful forum that is vbulletin v4.0.
Yeh, yeh, I know what are you thinking of, 'Do you have money?!'.
I don't know about this forum, this forum doesn't even refer to a donation forum, but mainly focus on fun.
I know LiNuX will eventually upgrading this forum, but the question is 'When?'
This is what make me feel so joy. I want this forum to be upgrade to vbulletin v4!!!
LiNuX, sorry to bother you... Will you? i mean asap...

That's the point. I don't want GF to be the type of forum that asks for donations in every other post. We get donations from time to time and we are very thankful and it is of course, voluntary. I don't want anyone to feel pressure. The money made from ads help pay for the license as well as server fees for now. It may be a different story in the future.
And I will eventually upgrade to vb4 but you have to understand that the upgrade process isn't quick. I have to test everything and basically convert everything from vb3 to vb4 which includes all templates, modifications, and whatever else doesn't come straight with vBulletin. It's a very lengthy process and I have to do it when I have more time on my hands which will most likely be at the end of May, hoping nothing else comes up.
Your poll options mostly say the same thing with different words...

it doesn't matter to me really. if the newer version is better then go for it, but i won't be missing anything if it stays like this.

Mark the end of may on your calendar Elan! haha
Also, I wish I had the money to donate. Once I get a job and my moms a little less out of debt I shall be donating fo sho!
Also agree with Jacob and Eps.
Also, take your time Linux <: you know we don't want to rush you.
Also.

hardly surprising mate .. you gave about 10 answers when really you were only really offering about 4 or 5

I'm not in any hurry, being quite content with this version, although an upgrade woukd be sweet. :P

Well, vbulletin v4 is a newest version of vbulletin forum. Furthermore, its have more features or maybe tons of features more than this vbulletin forum version.
Well, vbulletin v.4 also have a great appearance. Way better than the old one.
Like I said the main ingredient is the features.
Well, you can try the demo for free if you want to test it!

I think the forum looks fine how it is. I checked out the vb .4 , and its not THAT different. I mean, I'm all for an upgrade, but It all depends on time and money.

Well, I do give an option on the poll like 'I like this forum the way it's now', but got deleted by the mod so...
Oh well, vb. 4 will be my choice!

I really don't think we need to update to 4.0..
the forum is fine how it is.. though if a donation system did crop up, I would certainly throw some pennies in there.
