Recently, I have gotten back into enjoying anime. Here is a list of some animes that I have either finished or currently am seeing. I am asking for some recommendations for anime that are similar to my taste. In addition, I watch dubs. I appreciate it!
Hellsing (Original Series/OVA)
Death Note
Ergo Proxy (LOVED IT!)
Full Metal Alchemist (Original)

Blood+ is amazing. I loved it and I'm a big BIG fan of Ergo Proxy.
It's not the same genre, but Samurai Champloo will always be one of my absolute favorites. It's absolutely brilliant.

Watch the New Full metal(Brotherhood) it is 100x better then the Original.
Other then That I hate Dubs So I would only be able to give you Sub Recommendations.
One Piece is Awesome. but not everyone likes it.
Try Soul Eater, Code Geass, Bakemonogatari and Gantz

especially Rest in Peace, the main guy who made the music for the anime... 'Nujabes'
man, I was looking forward to like a 2nd season where they would meet again, but I guess its best to leave it at that.

Um... Devil may cry may be subbed... It's got action and the like. I believe claymore is supposed to be interesting - though I haven't actually watched it. Bleach is pretty good - though there are hundreds upon hundreds of episodes.
I gave up on watching one-piece... i got fed up at how drawn out it became. By that i mean, not enough happened in each episode to make me continue watching it.

Lesser known one is called Monster
If you liked Death Note, you might like it.
It starts slow, very slow, but eventually you'll be attached to the characters and such.
It was such an amazing anime.
I know it's subbed since that was how I watched it, lol, I think it's around 74 episodes.

well i know the monster anime/manga.
i don't watch the anime but i read the manga.
it's a great manga and the story is what making me love it.
Johan is the bad guy there.
and it's just show the hero determined to showing/ proof that Johan is a bad guy.
an Asian visiting to Europe is really great thinking and idea from the mangaka.

It changes fast,
Don't think you have it figured out lol
There is a ton of stuff that happens without expecting.
I love Grinner (I think that was his name)
But yea, it's about how good can prevail and prove that an ultra criminal CAN be caught.

I'm a fan of Evangelion... if you want to watch a movie I would go for Armitage III :)
Also IRIA is a good series in my opinion.
