I havent played much of battlefield but i am thinking about getting it and selling mw2

imo, having played both ..

for single player .. mw2 wins
for multiplayer - bc2 wins

.. just my opinion ofc ..

Haven't played BC2 so I can't really compare the two. But I played MW2 multiplayer and it was Ok. Slow paced compared to the other games I play (for me at least) - hope to try/get bc2 soon.

imho you cant really compare the two. yes they are both FPS but the gameplay is alot different

MW2- fast pace run n' gun, dont rely on other players to win a match if your good u win it for em.

BFBC2- gotta keep it stealthy or fly in a chopper try to run n' gun you die fast. if your squad sucks...theres no way you'll win.

honestly though i like both games. recently however ive been playing MW1 cause of dedicated servers. buuut idk basically choose the game that fits your playing style.

Tokyo has made a very good point there, even though they might seem similar... these 2 games are very different!

I'd definitely go with BF BC 2 tho :D

All these comments helped,i really like team based games and the enjoyment in mw2 for me is all but gone.I have tried many other genres but fps is what i get the most enjoyment from and i hope to obtain the money without trading some of my games because some day i will probably want to play them again...maybe

I was probably getting battlefield anyway but now i definitly will

i choose cod modern warfare 2. it's always be my fav though.
actually it's a pretty tough option.
both games is a great warfare and shooter game.
but at the end gonna stay with my cod modern warfare 2

Well you already know my view of MW2 (hates multiplayer), and i have never played BC2. But you play MW2 to much man.

So i say sell MW2 and get BC2.

P.S. I'm gettin BC2 so we could play online.

i know i play alot of it but thats because thats what all my friends play and i will be the only one with bc2 but it looks like its worth it.

I don't know, I enjoyed them both. I chose MW2 because there was more hype for it I believe. But I've played MW2 online for a bit at my friend's house. It was pretty sweet. But I've never played BFBC2 online so I have no idea what it would be like.

We'll from my experience of playing mw2 when you pass 5 days gameplay you start picking at small details and you eventually hate the game...we'll thats what happened to me:-(

MW2 has an awesome single player mode. BFBC2 not quiet as engaging ... very ... annoying. That is unless you haven't played the 1st Bad Comp. If you haven't played the 1st MW, no worries, very engaging. In multiplayer mode BFBC2 wins, hands down. The perks on MW2 makes the game less fun, seems like little kids hacking and saying they are good for XYZ reason. In BFBC2 you really need skills to get kills. Like the headshot I got while sniping a guy jumping from the cliff. Anyways I will buy the next MW just for the single player, haven't really done Co-Op but will love to.

Ive played both and it is a hard call.

MW2: You can set up your own classes and modify them to your heart's content after you unlock everything and get more weapons. The ability to create something unique like a running bomber class just running around with "noob tube" and killing everyone than using one man army to reload is kinda fun. What can shoot you down quick is facing those who are lvl 70 and have everything unlocked and your just starting out and just have m16a1. Plus the ability to get a tactical nuke is sweet! lol

BFBC2: Its like MW2, but different since you have predetermined classes, Medic, Assault, engineer and recon. The plus to that is you can get better weapons and equipment for each class for example if your a medic and you level enough you can get a defeb unit, i spelled it wrong my bad, and bring dead players back to life. If your recon, for example, you can call in air strikes. So its a interesting way to mix up the fun, where it can become a little annoying is when your on a big map and the enemy team is nothing but medics and assault, they drop ammo and medics can drop health, and they just sit in one place camping. You can call in air strikes but it takes at-least 3-5 to take down one building.

They are both fun since its asymmetrical warfare and I enjoy that because it allows you to overcome those who have the better equipment with tactics and stupid pride to just kill lol

So its hard choice but I think MW2 would take the cake over all personal, the ability to make your own classes, your own perks, death-streaks, call ins etc make it more interesting.

Completely agree, the multiplayer experience for BC2 is far better that COD6

Single Player MW2 Wins and for Online BF2 wins. Since you already played MW2 and If you havent gotten the map packs like me. I say just sell it and get BF2

depends on what kind of multiplayer game you like
battlefield always have big maps with vehicles imo it can be boring when the maps are too big and you end up running for 5 mins with nothing to shoot at
I have only bought all the battlefield games except for bad company 2 (ALL OF THEM at cheap ofcause :) if you put all the time I have spend playing all the battlefield games together I would still have played MW2 more

MW2 is more for good fps players that like to use there reflex + aim to kill people (like counter-strike +-source) and its always action packed you run for 3 secs and there will be enemies

they are both good if you have played MW2 for a long time you should sell it and buy BC2 or just buy it

I discovered that if you play MW2 online for about 30 min, and then switch the game to BBC2, you'll totally dominate because you'll be playing the game like it's an FPS instead of how everyone else tries to play it like a "realistic simulation"... which it's not.

Both games are really awesome, but when it comes to these games I would choose MW2 since I’ve being playing all of the Call of Duty series.
