The title explains majority of it. I am just curious as to what got you into liking video game and made your liking, or love, of video games grow.

For me I always played video games, but I really didnt become deep into video games until I ran into multiplayer lan parties and met some great people along the way. So really my love of the game grew out of the friendships i created..

But now i just love shooting stuff XD

sure you love shooting games.
it's the majority of peeps play shooting games like first-person shooter, third person shooter and so on.
but anyhow, we as a kid start to play games when we watch others or it's someone natural instinct loving games as it's a game (fun stuff)

This is true alot of people enjoy shooters, Its a default setting for me because I normally cant find a good RPG, action or something else to play. I do find a good action game from time to time, like Splinter cell Conviction.

but that is just me :P

I'm the only girl.. all brothers.. all male cousins... they got me into them.. some of the best memories I have are with my brother playing PS2...lol

My best memory was when i beat my brother for the first and only time in a video game i threw it in his face than 5 minutes later he showed me whos boss :(

lol. My brother does that all the time too.. There's only one game I can pwn him at.. and it's SSX...lol.

I got a game for doing well in a test... or an exam or something like that. And i loved it, couldn't get enough of it. I got a ton of games after that. So, that one game is the reason for my collection now. yay

I can't remember a time where i didn't play video games. But i wasn't a serious gamer until my friend showed me bf2. It was my first FPS game and it drew me in so much i would play it for entire weeks.

Did your guys view of video games change over the course of time for example going from a enjoyment type deal to serious MLG gotta pwn someone situation or is it still the same when you first found your calling to play?

I just casual game for fun... But then again totally pwning someone is funny as hell too. But im not really an angry gamer im pretty laid back n chill.

I will tell u after getting my ass pwned a few times and i get a good play with a sweet execution on gears of war 2 i let out a good yell of excitement.

My dad worked for some computer software development corporation... I can't remember exact details, I was too young to remember, although now he is a massage therapist. Anyway, computers have been around me all my life for that reason and he introduced me to games way back in DOS.

First game I played was Reader Rabbit at age 3 - I had to learn how to type "games" to make DOS go to the games directory and then "rabbit" to launch reader rabbit. I'm still proud to this day that I can say I could spell "rabbit" by age 3 XD

I suppose I established gaming habits real early and just never stopped o.o

For me I remember I went to my friends house and we were really bored. So we went downstairs to play xbox live and I was hooked I really wanted it. So I asked for an xbox 360 and then my mom was like oh I am not getting it for you its to expensive. But my mom got it and I was so excited! Now, I am collecting games and I play them all and i love to game its just really fun

I was born in 1986, and we were a poor family but we always had video games, computers and consoles. My first was an Atari 65XE. I played just about everything, In fact I collect them now, Atari is the shizz. And when I got older the Amiga took over, and there was so many amazing cool games out for it!
Plus as a tiny kid i spent every day at the arcades with my baby sitter, works well......works well!
