2D or 3D games?

I like pixilated 2D graphic more but I guess my FPS games wouldnt be the same without 3D :spinny:

playing games with 3D glasses is awesome my uncle got it
have you tried playing with 3D glasses? (with the needed hardware ofcause)

This really depends on the game...If L4D2 was 2D, I don't think it would be any good at all. If the game is tetris then I'd prefer 2D. I've seen 3D versions of the game and they just annoy me.

But yeah...depends on the game.

I like 2D doesnt matter what game except for games that need to be 3D like FPS games

for some reason I dont like 3D strategy games 2D is much better I just dont get the same feeling when I play 3D strategy games =/ or else its just how they make the units/buildings

I liked red alert 2 for the graphics but red alert 3 looks good but units look too silly for me also the tutorial in it is 3 tanks talking to you with moving cannons O.o
i guess i am just weird O_o

Oh well there is should be an option of 'Both'.
It's depend on situation and what games does we play.
If RPG game for example, I rather choose 2D.
IF shooting game, I rather choose 3D.

I was going to make an option "both" but almost everyone would choose both then I dont think anyone HATES either one of them

so you can just choose which one you like the most

for examble if I were going to make a game like the games you can play in Arcade I would make it a pixilated 2D game thats just how I figure out which one I like the most

I agree with Linux it depends on the game I think they have tried to have an option of both in a few games, a Mario game was the first to "experiment" with it and it did well.

I suppose it really does depend on the game though. A 2D Zelda would be weird. The 3DS will be rather neat.
