Awhile back a cousin left me with a storage box full of SNES games and a NES but can't do much with either of them so I'm kinda stuck.

I checked out gamestop and **** but no luck and I was just wondering if anyone had any experience buying old gaming consoles.

Are they like 20 bucks because their old or 2000 bucks because their old? I mean the only experience I have in this is pawning games to gamestop and a Gamecube is only 20 bucks now so I don't know how this works.

Check Amazon and Ebay. My cousin got one fairly cheap. I want to get one again in the future as well.

I don't really trust auction sites. You think your buying a xbox but you only get the box it came in are the kinda stories that make me steer clear of them.

That's why you do some research on the seller, read through the feedback. As stated above, buy from someone with good rep. I've bought tons of stuff from eBay without a problem. And if you pay through PayPal, you can get your money back if the item you received wasn't the item that was described.

Yeh, you can buy from eBay or Amazon but seriously it's tough to find old gaming console in any shop.

Just a thought, Is there any pawn shops around you? Check those. And goodwill might have 1 as well.

No man I said I have about 100 games (no not 20 or 30, really 100) sitting in a box and I would like to play them encase my girlfriend breaks up with me and I need something to seriously do.

besides i got all the mega-mans in there, some final fantasy, chrono trigger, mario rpgs, if i was a drug dealer I'd have it all man crack, smack, dope, coke, rollers, meth.

Everyone has already said this but I've had good luck on ebay. You could also try craig's list.

If you have a flea market near you, check it out : D
I dunno if anyone else has flea markets...

but usually there's a game place or two that sells old skool gaming stuff. Sometimes it get pricey, but you can haggle.

Well you are in luck , There is a local store here it is called game cozy . You can order one from them and have them send it to you . Here is a link to the website the Game Cozy & Movies in Carson City, NV 89701 - (775) 883-9999 (http://yp.tahoedailytribune.com/game+cozy+and+movies.9.110596475p.home.html) . The store is new so the website is not updated but I assure you if you call them ( the number is on the website ) they do have one I have seen it . So I hope that helps . The link is just a google one . However I have been to the website I just can not find it . So call him he will send it to you .

eBay is probably your best bet.

Although this thread is kind of old.

I would suggest participating in the site in my signature as trade-ins can be made for the equivalent money made on it.

You could also consider Craigslist to deal with local individuals, or to deal with local companies selling games in a physical building. Orrr! Perhaps trying a pawn shop(That's where a friend of mine got one recently.. but paid a bit much for it.)

Why aren't there any threads of people asking to find Sega Genesis's >: O lol. Some good games on there!

The best place to do anything like this is amazon. very trustworthy, even for sellers. Even though kink doesn't post here anymore i had to say that lol
