Screen Saver Wont Start...

I have a laptop and when i plug in a USB keyboard the screen saver does not start at all ever! I have to unplug it to make it work, anybody have similar issues?

screensavers won't start unless there is inactivity. Your keyboard may keep something moving within the computer, I haven't heard any issues about that though, but it's the only explanation I have. What kind of keyboard are you using?

Yeah this problem does seem a bit strange. Google can work wonders

It is just a cheap old keyboard, it doesn't even have a logo or make on it that i can see...

I only use it because it is easier to reach than a laptop keyboard.

Yeah, it's probably just telling the computer that activity is going on so it's not going into the screen saver. Could be a function of the keyboard or it could be defective, no way to tell from here.
