View Full Version : Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock

The game Guitar Hero has become a great hit since it came out. It is sort of like Dance Dance Revolutions where you go with what you see on the tv screen. this is a bit more fun in my opinion.

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock is due to come out October 28th, 2007 for the Xbox 360. That's the only console I know it's definitely coming out for so far. Haven't had time to confirm with others.

I plan to try to play this game sometime when I can but I will only buy when I have the money and the time for it.

The genre for this game is Rhythm and it is a new genre made for this type of game. DDR is also counted as rhythm.

Any thoughts on this game coming out?

I found the previous Guitar Heroes games very repetitive... Don't think I am going to try the new one.

I've only tried the first one and i thought it rocked, havent tried the second one so don't know how it gets repetetive, i know they have newer songs and beats and etc..

The third one will have Metallica in it, im assuming it wasnt in the older versions.

I heard it was coming out for the Wii. If it does, I'll try it then. I can't wait, I've heard they're really good but I've never actually gotten the chance to play one.

It's definetly coming out for the Wii too. And I heard it might be released on the PS3.

wow i havent beaten any of these "rhythm" games - not this or dance dance revolution, now the game Boogie comes out which doesn't look very good lol

well personally im a pretty big fan of "rhythm" games
i think becasue i play instraments including drums so i have some natural rhythm and the games come really easily to me
guitar hero is probably my favorite tho

im a fan cuz im part musician too lol - playing drums for maybe 8 yrs now and just started electric guitar a few months back :D i wonder what other rhythm games are to come out next, they need a drumming one for sure :D but how to play that haha

no....not at all..... small song selection, and the same game...
...and the song list....gets real tired....real fast.

ow.. well my friends always saying that GH is really cool...hmm well maybe b'coz they love music...wow i think the feature of the next entry is really cool...:-)

some of my friends says that GH is also really kewl. It is prolly one of those really addictive games which you cant stop playing when you start lol. Most music games are like that

this is kinda late quote haha but
ive been playing drums for maybe 2 years now
but ive actully played a drum rythem game before haha not for console but in an arcade it was alright actully
the song list was all japenese pop songs haha but whatever it was decent..
well theres always daonkey konga haha

Yeah the first 2 were really good but they were repetitive after a while. But if you have 2 there is no sense getting 3 really
