Tennis match nearing 10 hours

WIMBLEDON, England -- John Isner and Nicolas Mahut of France are playing what is already the longest match on record in tennis history.

Their first-round match at Wimbledon has lasted more than 9½ hours -- breaking the record of 6 hours, 33 minutes set in a 2004 French Open match.

Isner, of Tampa, Fla., and Mahut have played more than 110 games across more than 6½ hours in the fifth set alone. They resumed playing Wednesday at the start of the fifth set; the match was suspended because of darkness Tuesday night after four sets.

But its a guys match what do you expect
they can get pretty long considering its the best out of 5
while women its the best of 3

No, I only watched a bit of the video that was in the link in jak's post


I was at a Ultimate Frisbee game today (I play in a summer league) and the score was tied at 14-14 for a game that was to 15 points, win by 2... we all made jokes that the game would go for three days from this point, it was a good moment.

Thank you, jak, for making me in the know for that joke when it happened XD We ended up winning the game at 17-15 :)
