New to the Forum

Hello all, I was looking for a forum and found this. So following the suggestions, I'm a gamer from Texas. Currently home here for the summer. College is up in Minnesota for me so the time of year changes where I am. I'm looking to get back into online gaming, but I don't know too many gamers and college really eats into gaming.

I play on 360 for most of my online stuff. Have a PS3 my friend and I got, but I haven't played much on it.

i am getting rdr later this year but I suggest you buy it on xbox since apparently most people in this forum play xbox :(

Stuff I have played online- Halo 3, ODST, Borderlands, MW1/2, GRAW 1/2, GoW 1/2, Chrome Hounds, Battle Field Bad Company, Mercenaries 2, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory/Double Agent.
All around- Dead or Alive Four, Blitz II Mass Effect 1/2, Red Faction Guerrilla, Dynasty warriors, Assassin's Creed 1/2, Halo 1/2, Force Unleashed, End War, KOTOR 1/2, Fallout 3, Dragon Age Origins, Fable II, Oblivion, and Lost Planet.

well i can play halo, borderlands and mw1. Ive been currently playing red dead redemption like a crack fein. Also playing some Blur

I've heard good things about that. I play a slew of games on PC too. Supreme Commander (series), C&C 3/4, Borderlands, StarCraft, Diablo, Dawn of War, Civ 3/4. I've been thinking of getting into WoW, but I never can convince myself to.

I'll take a look when I get on later. The only game I've played online anywhere near recently is Halo, so it might be a disaster getting back into it.

I always liked CoD for LAN really. Last time I played online it was LMGs or Snipers with deep impact and stopping power. That kinda killed my interest in it.

i hear mw2 has a ton of hackers. I had that game forever im kinda suprised i never tried playing online

I hear that one too. Something about the game not having dedicated servers. If that's the case it'd be really easy to hack.

Ice, yeah I'll be in Minnesota when college starts back up. Until then I'm in Texas. I just love 110 heat and -40 cold.

Twin Cities campus. Big place, few gamers.

Clinical psychology. The Twin Cities campus is one of the biggest schools in the US for psych. A lot of great studies came out of it. I figured why not just go 961 miles north.

Do you want to be some sort of therapist or.. a social worker?

Aiming for I guess what you call therapist. Do some work with the military, government, then go into private practice. I couldn't be a social worked if I wanted to.

I think I would want to do criminal psychology if anything.

That's a good place to go in the government. Government work usually comes with a nice pension. It's a great bonus.
