Hi all,
Just a quick question. How worried should I be about DRM software as it relates to system stability, crashes, BSODs ect.? Do they (SafeDisc, SecuROM, ect.) cause or contribute to an increase in these or other issues? Most of the information I can see is divided between those who don't care and those who are furious with them due to fair use issues, which I'm not discussing here, and due to the principle of installing these drivers on their machine (which one cannot avoid if one is a PC gamer), with the rare user who has had some problem (although, to point out, no one can know what else he may have had running that contributed as well (alchohol120, daemon Tools, ect.)
Should I be worried about having these programs on my PC?
Before anyone mentions it, I know about the hole in SafeDisc's security that was patched back in '07. No offense, just trying to direct the question.
Thank you for yor help.
Peace out and God bless.
