Definitely didn't see this one coming. I would have thought the Veyron's AWD traction and similar output would have made it number one.

Real link: Henessy Viper beats Bugatti Veyron 0-200mph (http://www.motorauthority.com/news/supercars/hennessey-viper-beats-veyron-in-0-200mph-shoot-out/)

Information from source:
The Hennessey-tuned Venom 1000 Dodge Viper has eclipsed the world’s fastest car, the Bugatti Veyron, in a 0-200mph winner takes all shoot-out conducted by Road & Track, The twin-turbocharged Viper managed a best time of 20.3 seconds, almost four full seconds clear of the quad-turbo Veyron in second place, which took 24.2 seconds to reach 200mph.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's quite unbelievable it managed to beat it considering there's 6cylinders and i think 8 litres difference in displacement, I guess the V10 Hennessey Viper can get higher RPM's either that or it has less torque meaning that instead of spinning it will liturally just take off. Of course, in America speed limits are very low so Americans have always been gearing their cars for acceleration rather than the Europeans who gear their cars for a mix of both which could be why the Hennessey Viper was faster 0-200mph than the Bugatti Veyron.

Of course, this also means the Hennessey Dodge Viper V-10 was nearing it's maximum speed when it hit 200mph while the Bugatti Veyron will be able to keep going until it hit 253mph.

Here it's 40mph on unmarked roads, marked roads have varying limits ( read signs ) Motorway lane 1 is 55mph lane 2 is 65mph and the third lane is just the overtaking lane. But sometimes there's no speedtraps or police around.. that's when it gets fun.. racing with the M3's and the truckers down the motorway @ 120mph+, it's also extremely scary when there happens to be a curve in the road ^^ I wish I had my camera when we overtook that Suzuki GSXR750 in a Ford Escort 1.6litre N/A 92bhp... ^^
