We are looking to fill a few empty moderator positions here on Gamers Forum. This is open for all staff members that do not have mod powers as well (gfx pros + Game reviewers).
There are a few restrictions. If you have less than 50 posts or have not been a member for more than 30 days you cannot apply. If you have more than 4 Infraction Points on your account, you are also forbidden to apply. (Note that it's 4 points, and not 4 infractions)
Please open your own thread in the Staff Applications Board (http://www.gamers-forum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=60) Located in the Forum Talk Board titled something Similar to: "Moderator Position: USERNAME HERE" with the answers to the questions below.
Name - (real name please)
Username - (on this forum at the moment)
Age -
Location - (specify the State if the USA)
Email Address - (please post in this fashion: Admin (@) Gamers-forum.com - so the email does NOT become a link. the last thing you want is spambots picking up your email.)
How long have you been a member of this forum? (if under 30 days do not apply, wait until you've been a member for 30 days)
How many posts do you have now? (if below 50 do NOT apply until you get 50 LEGIT Posts)
Why would you like to be a Moderator here on Gamers Forum?
How would you help out the forum if you are chosen?
How often will you visit the forum to post and look for spam and delete all spam if necessary?
Do you have any experience in a moderator position in any other forums or websites? If yes, please tell me the NAME(s) - do not post a link. – List all previous or current positions from GF here.
Why should we pick you over anyone else that applied?
Will you get mad if you are not chosen for the position?
We are looking for people who can enforce the rules, work to make our community a better place, and those who are mature.
Applications are accepted from now until Saturday July 31, 2010. All moderators will be notified and announced in August. There will be an addition of at least two moderators by the time this is over.
Good luck to everyone. For privacy reasons, only moderators and admins can see application threads opened by every one in the Staff App board.
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IN THIS THREAD. If you cannot follow rules of this thread, you will not be considered to be a moderator.
side note: Everyone has a chance to get the position. Do not IM me, PM me, or even call me and ask me whether you stand a chance against the others.
