Go here................

BP chokes off the oil leak; now begins the wait - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100715/ap_on_bi_ge/us_gulf_oil_spill)

Well this is a start even tho this is just a temporary fix... They still have to open the valve every couple of days and let more oil spill into the ocean.... If they dont a new leak could pop up somewhere else....

I surprised Peta wasnt doing anything. You know how they like to be the center of attention, along with greenpeace.

why not just close the valve and leave it shut, and how much oil is in that damn hole MY GOD

In the worst-case scenario, pressure from the rising oil could fracture the well and cause leaks to erupt across an area of the seafloor too large to cap

wasn't it rumored the pool of oil could be as large as 40% space under the GOM?

Personally I just want to burn it. My inner pyro wants to see that much fire. We could then also get all those flying birds. Full eco-sweep.

My pyro thinks big. And seriously, there will come a point where burning it can't do much more harm if this cap fails.

tbh your right because what BP is using to clean up the oil is just as harmful to our wild life then the oil is
