Alien Swarm Gameplay

I know quite a few people here already have it and I was able to give it a go earlier. Playing with Diligence right now who killed me. But anyway, the video is of the game's gameplay. I think friendly fire being on really made this game better. I love the strategy involved because of that one simple fact.

i just played it and its a little laggy on my laptop... really suck... Plus you really need a mouse for it and not a touch pad.... Grrrr...

That sucks DirtyD...what are your specs? And yeah, I couldn't imagine playing a shooter with a trackpad

I'm so into this game right now - if anyone finds me in the IRC or if I'm on MSN/AIM or whatever hit me up and let's do it to it

EDIT: Shixx is playing tons of the game right now it seems - he always seems to be online. He'll probably come out with a short review on his site at some point if not one here as well... you could also probably play with him if you find him on Steam

You can play on touchpad. I used to play CS on my old toshiba laptop with touchpad and I was pretty good. It just takes a while to get used to.

And even though it was my first day of playing the game, you weren't the first or last person to kill me. Before our game yesterday, I got killed twice in the same game by the same guy using a shot gun. His friendly fire damage per round was about 200. He killed me twice and another guy once.

You can play on touchpad. I used to play CS on my old toshiba laptop with touchpad and I was pretty good. It just takes a while to get used to.

My mouse died at the last LAN i went to and I was still winning with an Op. =P

I used to play all my games with a touch pad, like wow, and guildwars especially where easy even PVP. But this one might be a little tougher. Or maybe he meant it didnt recognize the tough pad as an input device.
