So...
I thought i would share some funny news about my... University.

So about... 2 days ago, on saturday, I got a letter.... This letter informed me that I am not allowed to move into my dorm room, which Ive already paid for, plus the meal plan.

So now they are telling me to wait and see what happens. Yet if I dont get there by next week, monday to be exact, I will only have one week before they start dropping me and hurting my gpa overall.. But if i drop for the semester due to this, and I drop my room, I have to pay 800 bucks.

So due to my school not getting my information and ive filled out the proper paperwork twice now, Feb of this year and just last week. I am getting screwed over majorly, and the only thing they have to say is "ya we dont have our money you cant move in."

So, ive paid about 3,000 bucks for room and board plus meal plan, which alone was about 1250, and if im not allowed to move in i drop for the semester and my contract and they will make me pay 800. So by next week that means that school will have 3800 of my loans in their pocket.

Im pretty sure they are doing this to help the drug dealers/users so they dont have to pay to come... They give free rides to those who are "hurting" but want an education.

My school....

Loves to give out help to those who have been in trouble with the law... IE drugs...

They give them a free ride for 2-4 years.

They dont pay a thing, but everyone else around them pays for them, IE increases in everything you can think of.

How did you pay? You should have some record of the payment even if it's just a deduction from your bank.

I usually pay my bills by Credit Card and I always have the statement.

And trust me, it's not just your school that does this. A friend of mine last year had a $0.30 (something close to that) balance on his account. The university completely locked him out meaning he wasn't on the roster for any professor and his ID didn't work when he wanted to get into the gym, library, or other places that require it. He also missed a midterm because he had to clear it up before the professor can enter a grade for him anyway.

Every University is out to get every penny they can get.

I have a letter, and statement on my student account saying my FA is good for the semester/year, and that im allowed to move in.

Thats all i got..

My dad has a theory about this is that im not there yet they dont know if im coming back so they withhold all my FA.

My school is stupid, they did put holds on my account for the first 3 semesters because i didnt get some medical shot and they lost the paperwork 3 times..
