Weird, but today i was looking through my email on my iPhone and it said that my password was incorrect....... i tried to retype it in and would not work. so i recovered my password and changed it. i looked thru my login info on my gmail and there was a IMAP access with a different Ip address that was different from my iPhone and my iMac. i only used these two machines to look at my email today. i am worried if somebody hacked my gmail and changed my password. But!, i looked at the access time from the weird ip address and it was exactly the same time i sent a email to some kid Using my iPhone(connected to my wifi). So, could it be a possibility that gmail uses there own servers for IMAP? or did i just get hacked?

Gmail does have it's own IMAP Server.
but if a Different IP connected to the IMAP that wouldn't matter.
Seems Fishy to me especially since you had problems with your password.

more then likely you got hacked.

Make sure your passwords are harder to guess. And you should check your settings to see if anything has been changed, then you can figure out a bit more whether it was a hack or a fluke/error with the gmail system because it can happen - no system is perfect.
