Spike Games' recent brutal brawler, Deadliest Warrior: The Game, is having a hard time staying off the top of the sales charts.
Released in July, first month sales for the game topped 190,000 copies sold on Xbox Live. The publisher says it continues to see strong sales nearly a month later.
"Interest in the game has exceeded our expectations on every level," Dan Yang, Senior Vice President of Spike Games told IGN. "This is most prominently reflected in our sales, where 'Deadliest Warrior: The Game' continues to be a top 10 best selling title on Xbox Live Arcade after a month.
"Our goal was to release a game that would be fun and addicting over a long period of time and we are encouraged by the high level engagement on the leader boards, message boards, Spike.com and Facebook."
Yang added Spike Games has more downloadable content planned for the existing game and will have news on the release of the PlayStation Network version in the near future.
I only played the demo... but I HATED IT.....
did anyone actually get this game???
