help with pc game issue

so i just got Aion. i've barely even played it and now the game isn't responding and when i do get to play the screen will just go black and i can't do anything but turn off the laptop

any ideas on whats wrong with it?

My guess is that the game settings are to high and the laptop might not be able to handle it. Sounds like its locking up too for lack of RAM. I might be wrong.

my suggestion would be lower the settings, all settings

Sounds more like a graphics card issue. What GPU do you have? Then you can compare it with the minimum requirements for the game.

Download speedfan or a similar program to keep an eye on component temperature. I've seen issues like the one you described before and it could be almost anything but the most common is graphics card not being able to handle it, then RAM, then overheating.

try lowering everything Windowed mode helps sometimes.
Windowed mode could make it work harder though.

and make sure your GPU Drivers are updated

Can you give us your PC specs? Perhaps uninstalling/reinstalling will help?
