So it would seem to me that we arent even a complete week into the school year and people are being... rude by blasting their music while im busy with my math homework. Very annoying... Its hard to try and understand this crap when all you hear is music about how people need to "smack a b word and gets some fat rolls"

So to counteract their crappy music I am blasting mine at full power, and at the moment my floor is shaking a little bit, to the extend i can feel the beats on my feet. Im actually enjoying myself because ive dealt with this for going on 4 years now and its just so inconvenient on my part to ask them to turn it down. So some good ol' metal will do its job, I might lose my hearing, but at-least i pissed someone off :)

i use to do that with my car system. My mom use to say she could hear me from five minutes away cause all the glass would start shaking. Let alone u pull up behind someone and they cant even see out there rear view mirrors lol. But i love music loud even more so if its metal and road rage begins

Lol Joker, that's exactly how I counter act rap when my friends play it. I blast my heavy metal/death metal, usually gets them to turn it down. Works like a charm

I have a private room. And it will stay that way till the day I graduate. ive only had 3 room mates, no drama really. I just hate how people are stupid and blast their music. RAs dont do anything even though its against city law. So you know the old saying, fight fire with fire.

Two of your suggestions are illegal, that would go against my field of study.

Ive tried talking to them, all they did was insult me when I asked them nicely to turn it down. So If they want to play there crap loud I will do it right back at them. I know it will do a few things: 1) Gets the RAs' attention about what is going on 2) make the RAs act and 3) cancel Hell hour for the entire semester. Also another thing it might do is get the attention of the Police department and someone's speakers might be taken from them :).

Hell hour is when they allow all students to play their music at full power for one hour.

i wish i had a private room. my room mates always blasted the crappiest rap and country.

so i always blasted metal to annoy them. like cradle of filth. omg did they hate when i played cradle of filth the most. and i always made sure i wore my tripp jeans

I believe in trying to make peace before starting a war. You know everyone is 18 or older common sense has had time to fully develop and they should learn they are not the only kids on campus. Sadly, they have not learned that.

I dont know why they would be discovering themselves to be honest. If they dont know who they are or what they want to do they shouldnt be here. Yes this is true, alot of people do act out in college and it costs them a ride to jail for the night. 9 times out of 10 they dont learn their lesson.
I wont call the police, ive dealt with my campus police department, it ended up with the LT insulting me. So the RAs will call and do the dirty work.

Why would you want to waste time on trying to trick them or persuading them, they are idiots it wouldnt be very hard to do. and being rude to them wont do anything but start a feud and maybe even a fight or two. I havent been in a fight since 10th grade so I do have alot of built up anger I do need to get rid of.

but I HATE when ****ty music is played so loud i can hear it in my room with the windows closed from a car on the street
or my back neighbours playing rap because they're so rad like that.
