Signature Showoff ^^

I got some new brushes and I started a sig just for fun, to check out how the brushes will look, but it turned out very good in my opinion, so now I'm showing it off :P

Made a little signature too with a awesome render of GoW I found ^^ Thanks to Knibbler for helping me to make it better!

Made a new sig! This one is a tribute to Anna Williams from Tekken, since I rock playing with Nina Williams and don't even bother playing with Anna... eheh. Anyway, I want to say something before you comment or rate it. This sig was a complete test for the background. I learn some smuding and brushing things and I was trying those out, so yes, I do know the text is very 'common'.

I only did the text to distract a little :P For me, Anna is the elegant killer, but Nina, is like the silent killer or even the ultimate killer! ^^

I would probably make the font colour a little brighter than the brushes in the background, but other than that, lookin good sista! : D

Along the lines of what Lemon's said, try adding a 2px white stroke to the text to bring in out a little bit more..
just to see if there's any improvement.

No one can find the MGS touch in there? MGS = Metal Gear Solid. Yeah, in that very blue sig, there's a bit of Metal Gear Solid >:D

Well, since you're the one who get closer, yeah, it is the font. The 'the' word of my sig is the same in MGS2 Menu, same font as 'press start button'. But in the menu it's all in CAPS LOCK, while in my sig its normal :P

Thanks ^^ Since all of your opinions and suggestions made me feel good about my graphic skill, I have a new project coming :P
It will involve the whole GF community, who ever wants to help or just comment. Just keep up with my activity or with this Sub-Forum (Graphics) too see what it is :P

NOTE: I'm very excited, especially if it works and gets active, but be aware that my school is about to restart in 2 days, so I'll be very busy D= I'll try to move it forward tomorrow, but I still have to talk to my friends about the school reunion and blah blah. :radar:

Bah I was bored and started making a little sig with a new render I found and some cool effects I learned... here:

Tell me what you think! I'm learning some really cool stuff now, so I hope those get better >_> As you can see, the game is Gears of War

I'm not keen on the text, but i can't even get text right so don't worry to much..
The effects are nice but what really bothers me is the Gears Logo..
Try Desaturating just the logo.. or maybe if you don't want that effect, try a color overlay with a color that fits in with the rest of the signature and set the color overlay to 'Color Burn' or 'Darken'...

As for the opinions of GoW sig:

I'm glad you think the effects worked ^^ I was actually doing some changes to it, because the render/character looked kinda strnage (talking about the colour). Since I've seen your opinions, I'll change it!

EDIT: Made it, but there are 2 questions/problems I still have!

-Knibbler, was that effect on the logo you meant? I didn't changed it's colour b4 because the logo normally is red.
-I didn't changed the font to Snipers, because with that font you couldn't understand anything with such a little size!

Excellent, that's exactly what I ment, I just think it blends the logo in with the sig more.. instead of having it stick out more than the main focal (being Mr. Fenix.) And the adjusted contrast works brilliantly..

As for font, you could try Jacinto Sans Font | dafont.com (http://www.dafont.com/font.php?file=jacinto_sans&page=1&nb_ppp_old=10&text=Gears+Of+War&nb_ppp=10&psize=xs&classt=alpha)

I've edited the font preview so you can see what it would look like with the font size aswell..

Try it with both.. do one with the grey rectangles and one without.. and we'll let you know which one looks better..

I meant a font like it, in its style .. even if that specific one isn't quite right .. the one you have atm is a bit, well, dull if you ask me :)
