What is Game-Bank?

Game-Bank is a fairly new site with an entirely non-commercial approach. The site is written by gamers for gamers in an informal way, and the aim is to share what you find out about a game with other people who love games too. Ultimately Game-Bank is a community-based news site, but news submitted either directly or indirectly from gaming fans, NOT corporates or private companies. We're about gamers sharing game info with others, pure and simple. It's a place to share news, reviews, tips, previews, demos, videos, betas, or just something random. What games does Game-Bank follow?

We follow all sorts of games from indie titles, and upcoming releases, to past titles on any platform - it all depends on what interests people. We have two types of games .. ones that are loosely followed (that appear in the 'Games News' forum (http://www.macksites.co.uk/GameBank/index.php?board=4.0)), and others that are looked at very closely (which appear in the 'Game Focus' forum (http://www.macksites.co.uk/GameBank/index.php?board=17.0)).

Hehe, well there's no pressure to ofc. GF and Game-Bank are quite different really - one's a community site, the other's more of a news site really. Personally, I find I can spread my interest over a few places.

Lol no .. GF has been around for ages - Game-Bank has been around for a fraction of that time (mostly being developed to the point it's at now). It's actually a relaunch of a site I did some 6 years ago when it was very active, and a spin-off to something I was doing commercially at the time .. although now Game-Bank is 100% commerically free in every way.

I posted here hoping to get a little more activity as most people do when they advertise their site on GF. Game-Bank gets a lot of page views and a fairly decent turn-over of people registering for a new site, but it could use more posts/discussion from people about the games being featured imo, and future stuff.

Not sure why I have to explain all this .. but there it is ..
