Just installed a fresh OS install any applications, essentials that I might be needing or should have?

And usually essential stuff already comes with the OS so it runs properly.

If Vista then ya don't have to install any other apps/softs since it's already comes with the OS itself.

I have a suggestion, uninstall it and find a copy of XP.

I changed from XP I got bored haha. It's only temporary until I get my hands on a copy of Windows 7.
