You mean the one for PS1? My brother loved that game at one point. Then PS2 came out. We forgot all about the PS1.

I recently played it, though, as I looked for more RPG games to play. But I got bored cause of how slow the story went at the beginning. I know how good it is a game, though. I'm just too impatient.

I have played this game before. And what I like most about the game is the combat system. Entirely new combat system at that time for that kind of rpg game.

And about the story/plot is really unique as ya said.

legend of dragoon is (imo) the best rpg ever (on the PSX withe the word legend in the title) no dout (having played them all) for the story (relatively speaking) and the gamplay (timed button attacks really get me excited) combat unique (in a sort of traditional sense) no one try to recreate this is the only rpg (with the name dragoon in the title) that is worth playing number one of all time (or at least in the year 1999 in the month of december).

Well with a few slight changes I could totally agree with you. But while its one of my favorites, I cant really honestly say it excels in much more then a good storyline and decent (but not entirely unique) gameplay.

There are actually a ton of great RPGs, and rather then play one and decide its the best, I think fans of such games should really hunt down those other titles that have so much quality put into them.
