I used to play this game, but got bored of it :/ Anyhow, I tried some new stuff on the background! I'm saying this the whole time, probably because there are a million stuff for me to learn :P here it is:

As for your avatar, its nice, but i'd suggest bringing the white drop shadow a little closer to the original text.
