Is Starcraft 2 worth it?

Hey, i love strategy games, and i played a little bit of starcraft 1. I also played a tiny bit of Starcraft 2, im just asking if the multiplayer is fun? is there some kind of global ranking? (which i love), just is the game worth the 60 bucks

ITS SO WORTH IT. Multiplayer's fun, and even more so when you get a few friends to play with. Global Ranking? such as levels, wins, loses, and such? Then yes (:

Starcraft 2 is really awesome it's really worth it to buy it and play it I am enjoying this game so much.;-)
