A Wobbling Sock

Hullo!

I'm not sure how to start, but I will just skip to the basics. I am an Australian gamer and I have been gaming since about 1999 when I first got my PlayStation One (My first game was Hercules). I have since then been a console gamer, but right now I do play a few PC games (At the moment just MineCraft & Team Fortress 2). Feel free to add me if you like, but unfortunately at the moment I am only playing 2 games.

I have been awaiting the recently released Medal of Honor for about 8-9 months and seeing as it is in my opinion (Contrary to what others think) a fantastic game. I spend most of my time playing MoH, but I am also playing a bit of Bad Company 2 on the side seeing as I got it with MoH.

I joined the Forum because I wanted to discuss not only the games & gaming in general, but the things that make the games; developers, publishers, game engines & mechanics. Hopefully this Forum has a fair few people who are indeed familiar with game engines and basically the people and things that make games what they are.

Thats about it, if anyone has any questions feel free to ask...

Yeah, thanks for the link to the IRC/Rules. I have been on plenty of Forums and even had the chance to be a Mod on one of them, so I don't underestimate the importance of a Forums rules.

This is the first time I joined a very large Forum dedicated to multiple different gaming topics. I usually just hopped from one to another depending on the game the Forum is based around. Looking forward to the experience here!

I really like the posts we've seen out of your and love that you want to get into discussing the deeper design concepts of games... there are a pocket of us here on the forum that are definitely looking at games with that critical intent and sharing ideas with each other on a much deeper level. I hope you find enough fun people here that you are convinced to stay! I'm always hungry for more people to really pick games apart with on the forum :p

Yeah no problem, I'll add you when I get back from school (Thats if I don't go straight to Medal of Honor of course lol). What class do you play as mainly? I usually go for the Sniper but I also use the Soldier & Spy a bit too.

Hmm, I guess it would be hard to play TF2 together anyways judging the timezone difference.

You can just post your review in the Post Anything section if you have one already, but I don't suspect we'd have any problem making you a Game Reviewer if you applied for it so you could post it in the reviews section, either
