The best Metal Gear solid News ...or the worse

I have just found out about them remaking MGS 3 for the new DS system . In some aspects this game looks soo much better but in other aspects it looks worse . So what is your thoughts on the matter .

This is definitely good news. It looks and plays exactly the same as the original, except on the DS. It's also gonna be in 3D

What EPS , you being a solid fan as am I , I would think you would be able to tell the vast amounts of difference in this game .For example the bridge he is on looks horrid compared to the ps2 one. And that helicopter WTf is that doing there . They did not have that in the old one . This demo is actually not even part of the original game . The problem I have with this is , if they change the story or add stuff IDK if thats good , also this is not directed by Hideo kojima from what I understand.

Its a 3ds game . The new system will blow away all handhelds out right now .

I know what it is, and it's still a DS.. doesn't change the fact that for a DS-series game it looks phenominal.

Well, that is like Saying oh this looks great for a gameboy game . Yes it is a handheld but it is a whole new system . Not going to play on the old ds or dsi . You will have to but a new hand held system .

Yea, the 3DS is a whole new system, it's not just a DS that has 3D effects. Its like going between the Gameboy and the Gameboy Advance.

Yes.. I realize it's a whole new system, (somewhat) new hardware, presented in new ways, but at heart it is still just a DS. A Nintendo manufactured handheld. For the most part, with the exception of certain games/developers, there isn't going to be all too huge a jump for the majority of the 3DS games as there is with other consoles/computers.

For a handheld that surpasses the Wii's graphics capabilities (doesn't seem like a huge feat), to be playing a game that looks like it belongs on the early PS2, it's still very good graphically. Very few DS games, from the release to today, look as good as that does.

Well, people have been using the PSP's full graphical capabilities, but to be completely honest you're basically saying that no gameboy color game looks as good graphically as a gameboy advance game.

No, that's not "basically what I'm saying". And I never said anything about the PSP. Aside from being a handheld, you really can't compare the two.

OK Guys this took a wrong turn somewhere . So lets get back to the basic subject at heart is this MGS game going to be a better remake a worse one or just the same . We all have our own thoughts on the subject of the handheld system but that is not the topic of this thread . Maybe we can make a topic of that on a different thread but for the sake of closeing a pointless argument . I think that I do not have enough information on this game to decide if it will be better worse or the same .
