Printer Problem

ok so I wanted to scan a picture that I took into my computer but whenever I try to scan it a message pops up and says LCD lists need to be upgraded and then a scan to setup window comes up what does this mean

my printer is an HP Photo Smart D110 series

Do you still have the manual? Problem seems scanner specific.

Hah, I usually tell my users to reboot 3 times to fix an issue like that. For the record, the ones that actually do that I can't help but shake my head at. :P
