A quick rant, because I am a bit bothered... Read it if you want, or don't, doesn't matter...

So, I used to love logging in here, reading posts, catching up on the latest gaming news, and replying occasionally (very occasionally - I'm not one to post my opinion from bad experiences on other forums who will remain nameless) to topics I found interesting.

I used to have a lame gamertag. It wasn't until recently that I came up with a clever gamertag. On most of the forums (minus this one) I have been able to change my login name with no issues. Now here where I need to gain GFP (or as some call "candy") it's a royal PITA to change ones login name.

Don't get me wrong, I get it. There must of been some that were abusing the privilege and making quite the headache for LiNuX and the admin staff. But for little old me, this is bothering the hell out of me.

I don't mean to be a charity case. It's just annoying that someone had to ruin it for everyone else I guess is my problem. I understand the theory behind it - to get members more interactive on the forums, but some of us like to keep to ourselves. :(

lol, it used to be cheaper, but we upp'd the amount. Why? gave us some use for GFP, cuz most people just had stockpiles of it sitting around. It's also sort of an incentive to post more.

I have 15,000 if you need any, but it's really just there for members who have tons to have a use for it.
It's also so people don't go changing their name every other week
