If you could make any game anyway you wanted...

Personally, I'm wondering if it's possible to mix the technology of Google Street View with the free-roaming capabilities of games like Mafia II/Fable III/Fallout?

Ya know...just remake reality, as a game, where you can go around and manipulate the outcome of your life.

Heck, call it Life. Let's make a remake of the game Life, but instead of it being a board game, it's a third-person free-roaming game that uses Google Street View to create the virtual perimeters of everything...

And no cut scenes or load scenes please. When I fly to London from Hawaii I don't wanna have to stare at a loading screen for 15 seconds that says "You are flying to London"...

I'm talking smooth, non-stop, MMO, no shortcuts either...I'm talkin the entire globe in a game. And if I wanna sit through the whole flight to London, then give me that choice. If not, please also add a skip button.

And no buildings that I can't enter! If I wanna get into a building, I better be able to get in it, and if it sells furniture, I better be able to buy it for my house that I bought through the real-estate agency down the street!

Sounds cool, but I doubt we would be able to get that kind of game for a very long time.

For me its hard to choose a dream game, because I would like to have so many different things and then it would all clash together...just hard to think of it....

That would be interesting, I wouldn't mind giving some people from my school a virtual beating with a baseball bat.

Well for me, my dream game will the game where we can really adventure like One Piece manga. But the twist is, everything on the game including the adventure and the obstacle that we are about to facing is really random and totally under our decision. So it's kinda like a real life adventure not following the game storyline itself. There is no such a technology yet.

I AGREE with Rec. Gamer... make a game of life! You're born, finish HS go to College, make hard or easy choices, get a job buy a car and yeah I dunno JUST LIVE LIFE!

I would actually like that with FPS' as well!

I mean...if you're gonna be an assault, drop an ammo box once in a while!!

Add this to my post: You can join like a tuning gang and do incredibly stuff with you car but obviously you need a good paying job OMG AWESOME

I like the game of Life remade thats kinda cool
or they make a better version of the Sims that includes more stuff
because the Sims is kinda like life in general missing out a few things

My dream game would be a game that converts in game currency to real life currency and transfers it directly to your bank account automatically :)

I saw a topic very similar to this before. I would like an oblivion-styled RPG based around the pokemon world. You solve quests and stuff, and you actually run into pokemon in the wild.

I saw a topic very similar to this before. I would like an oblivion-styled RPG based around the pokemon world. You solve quests and stuff, and you actually run into pokemon in the wild.

I was going to make some elaborate post describing a game with a pseudo oblivion-like gameplay that blends some action and some RPG elements but then I read your post here and realize that this is what I've really wanted all along; I just hadn't realized it yet.

I posted a more detailed one in a thread before...it was called "what game should be made" or something. Incorporate GTA4's phone thing where u hang out with friends.
