Alright, here is one I can't even figure out. I have tried all the tricks I have and checked all the places that could be the problem. Take a look at this screen shot and let me know if you have any thoughts:

ping the .3 IP and see what you get. But that's interesting. Looks like it's being masked or the router didn't set up the internal IPs properly when first connected.

Believe I figured it out, as much as this is messed up.
So the server I am pinging has Teamed NICs (part of the problem). Because the server is too stupid to send you a reply, it literally pushes you off to get a reply from somewhere else to say, "Yeah, I'm here, I'm just too retarded to tell you, so I am going to let my buddy tell you for me."
So yeah, that's what I found out. I am going to do a bit more digging because I'm not sure how much I believe that, but I will keep you posted if I find anything else. :P

I had that happen on a web server a while back. It was with external IPs though. When I pinged one IP, it just pushed the connection to a separate IP. Since I didn't have access to the routers, the network admins at the datacenter fixed it.
