What game were you entirely unimpressed with this year?

For me it would simply have to be Immortal Soulds which I reviewed not long ago which sounded pretty cool, and delivered soooooooooooooo little.

the Demo was so awesome and then the full game was so horrible..

the thing with me is, if I don't like a game, I don't buy it... like before I buy it I MAKE 100% SURE that I'm gonna like it so that's why I don't have one right now :P

Final Fantasy 13. Been looking forward to it for years, was the reason I bought a PS3. I heard the bad things about it and i was prepared for it, but it was just a bad game. Stupid storyline, boring gameplay...only good things were the presentation and the battle system was cool.

Black Ops.

They sugar coated everything with "Customization" and "Making your gun truly yours", but in the end it is more or less a recycled WaW mod. Zombies is also practically identical to WaW, and the storyline makes absolutely no sense.

Gothic 4: Arcania

For me it's the dirt under my shoes that *****ing, stupid and completly un-gothic game, JoWooD must ruin everything of course. The guild 2, Gothic 3, Gothic 3 forsaken Gods and Gothic 4...I must say they can do things good but the last game I liked from them published was Gothic 2+Addon and that was 5-7 Years ago.

New vegas was kind of a letdown. =P

Specifically its buggy release. I have have the game crash six times on me so far. Every time I play more then an hour it falls on its face hard.

I mean, I liked the way it looked & stuff, but the gameplay was pretty much the same as the 1st one... & it was more of a warm climate rather than a snow-type of climate... I'm glad I got store credit for that one game...

Lead & Gold and Sniper: Ghost Warrior.

Entirely unimpressed with both, especially Sniper. Expected the game to be better but they really screwed the game up.

For me its Gothic 4 and one bad thing in this game also is that when you jump in the water you die just there whereas in Gothic 3 you can swim to islands and things and the music is better too.

I agreed and the gameplay is the same as Mw and MW2...they said it will be different..

No they didn't.. If you've been following the CoD franchise at all, like almost any other game series, the gameplay stays mainly unchanged between games.

I was expecting a Brutal, Rappers, Fighting game, but, i got a SINGING GAME???, i mean, come on! Even if its like Icon, i don't mind. but the game looks.. decent, i guess. i played it on my cousin, its cool and challenging, but still. i expected a Fighting game.
